EYLF V2.0 Connections
Outcome 1 – Children have a strong sense of identity
Children develop agency and increasing independence as they make choices about how they engage with the signs and begin to recognise actions that support their own needs.
Outcome 3 – Children have a strong sense of wellbeing
Movement, pushing and tracing provide opportunities to develop body awareness, coordination and physical wellbeing, while creating spaces where children can pause, regulate and refocus.
Outcome 4 – Children are confident and involved learners
Children strengthen concentration, persistence, curiosity and confidence as they trace, move, explore and repeat purposeful actions.
Outcome 5 – Children are effective communicators
Children engage with English and Mandarin print, symbols, shapes and visual prompts, supporting early literacy, mark-making and an understanding that words and symbols communicate meaning.
